Mission: Since 70-80% of people looking for jobs will find them through networking, we host a Job Club at the Community Career Center every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Joy Maguire-Dooley of the Lisle Township facilitates this networking group. It is an excellent opportunity to make contacts, talk with others about the job search process, and get job leads. During the last half hour of each session, a speaker addresses various job search or employment issues. You do not have to register, just bring copies of your résumé and show up!

Marketing and Sales Professionals Networking

The Marketing and Sales Professionals Networking Group (MSG) is a networking group committed to
enhancing its members' career opportunities, contacts, and professional skills. Members possess expertise in marketing and/or sales in a variety of B2B and B2C industries. The networking event is for anyone who currently works for or is interested in working with/for the sales and marketing sector (advertising and branding, communication, marketing, direct marketing, event organization,
global marketing, international marketing, Internet marketing, industrial marketing, market research, public relations, retail marketing, strategic management, marketing account executives, etc.)
Meetings begin promptly at 6:30 p.m., and as with all of our evening sessions, we are asking participants to bring a light appetizer and/or beverage to share with the group. Meetings open with each member presenting his/her 30 second elevator speech and distributing resumes, handbills and/or business cards. Please bring at least 35 - 40 copies. A guest speaker scheduled for the last hour of the meeting; details regarding the topic/speaker bio will be posted shortly.

The group meets monthly at the Hinsdale, IL Library located at 20 East Maple Street, Hinsdale, IL 60521 (Corner of Maple St. and Garfield Ave.)

Mission: The Ministry consists of dedicated volunteers from the business community who offer career and job transition advice plus spiritual and moral support.
