The Plainfield Area Interfaith Food Pantry needs volunteer support Monday through Saturday mornings from 7:30 AM to noon. We seek reliable, dedicated individuals who can commit to volunteering weekly, even if only for part of a workday. Volunteer Roles Include:

Sorting Donations – Organizing incoming food and supplies to ensure efficient distribution.

Stocking Shelves – Keeping our pantry well-stocked and orderly for client visits.

Assisting Clients – Helping families select food items while maintaining confidentiality and dignity.

Donation Pickups – Collecting and transporting donations from community partners.

Due to the nature of our work, children younger than high school age are not permitted to volunteer. The Pantry operates in all kinds of weather, and confidentiality is essential to protecting the dignity of those we serve.
